Terrazzo is a much underrated and often neglected technique but this book should help to redress the balance! It contains a detailed history of the medium, a complete guide to the technology involved and examples of the many uses of terrazzo, all beautifully illustrated with examples from antiquity to the modern day. There is much here to interest mosaicists and marble workers too, as the use of mosaic in terrazzo is also covered, together with the materials used. Recommended!
